Kelli serves as special counsel for Fisher Firm, overseeing the Public Administration and Education Division. She lives in Nacogdoches with her husband, Tim. They are first year empty-nesters, with their three children in various stages of their college careers.

After serving as an Assistant Attorney General with the Texas Attorney General’s office defending state agencies and universities, Kelli transitioned her skills and experience in education law to the rural public school districts of East and Southeast Texas.

Kelli finds her greatest joy in the classroom, training school districts. She also previously served as adjunct professor for the Stephen F. Austin State University, Department of Education.

In 2009, in partnership with the Region 7 Education Service Center, Kelli founded eTrain Advantage, an on-line training library utilized annually by school districts to train thousands of East Texas teachers and administrators on current school law matters.
