Kelli serves as Special Counsel for Fisher Firm, where she oversees the Public Administration and Education Division. She and her husband, Tim, are first-year empty-nesters with three children in various stages of their college careers.
After serving as an Assistant Attorney General with the Texas Attorney General’s Office, where she defended state agencies and universities, Kelli transitioned her practice to focus on education law for rural public school districts across East and Southeast Texas.
Kelli finds her greatest professional fulfillment in the classroom, training school districts. She also previously served as an adjunct professor for the Stephen F. Austin State University, Department of Education.
In 2009, in partnership with the Region 7 Education Service Center, Kelli founded eTrain Advantage, an online training library used annually by school districts to train thousands of teachers and administrators on current school law matters.
